TOWN OF EATON

PLANNING BOARD

June 21, 2006

The Planning Board held their regular monthly meeting on Wednesday, June 21st, 2006 at the Evans Memorial Building. Present were; Nancy Malvesta, Dick Shaw, David Sorensen and George Murphy. The meeting was called to order by Nancy Malvesta at 7:05 p.m.

The minutes for the meeting of May 17th were accepted as distributed.

David Maudsley said the Selectmen had concluded there did not appear to be any interest in children from Eaton joining the Madison Recreation Program. Another meeting with Conway about the Recreation Program has been agreed upon but no date has been set.

The Selectmen have issued several building permits but no new construction. Two bids had been received for installing mini split air conditioners in Town Hall. The contract had been awarded to American Air Systems.

It does not look like Cherryfield Foods will be blueberry picking on Foss. The conditions they are imposing are not acceptable to the Town so the Conservation Commission is researching alternatives.

Correspondence was reviewed including a Zoning Practice article on conditional uses and the recommendations from Attorney Katherine Miller on updating the cell tower ordinance.

The meeting adjourned at 7:35 p.m. ?tis summer time.

Respectfully submitted

David V. Maudsley?
