The Eaton Beach is a private resource owned by the Town of Eaton.

BEACH RULES

1. Use of the Town Beach at Crystal Lake is restricted to property owners and taxpayers in Eaton and their guests.

All Town of Eaton homeowners are issued two vehicle stickers upon their request. All non-resident property owners (those who own property in Eaton, but do not have a domicile or live within the town) are issued one vehicle sticker upon their request.

The color of beach stickers is changed yearly.

2. A beach pass is required.

All Town of Eaton households receive one laminated "guest pass" upon request, with the resident's identifying number clearly printed on it. Residents may loan the pass out to guests who in turn may have access to the beach merely by displaying the pass. Non-resident property owners receive no such pass and must accompany their guests to the beach. Lost guest passes are not replaced unless approved by the Eaton Board of Selectmen.

Every vehicle accessing the beach must display a pass. No pass.... no access!!

Guests of the inns in town must show their room key to access the beach.

Short term renters of an Eaton residence are allowed access to the beach via a written permission slip signed by the property owner.

Group use of the beach requires prior permission from the Eaton Board of Selectmen.

Stickers and guest passes are not mailed out. They are available upon request from a beach attendant.

3. No dogs or other animals are allowed on the beach.

4. No glass containers are permitted on the beach.

5. Any law enforcement officer may issue a notice of violation.

6. Such notice shall impose a fine of twenty five dollars ($25) which may be mailed in to the Town Clerk within ten (10) days of the notice of violation.

7. In the event that such fine is not paid within the time limitations specified, summons shall be issued for appearance in District Court and if found guilty of violating this article, shall be fined up to two hundred fifty dollars ($250).
